The last day to register for the Nov. 5 special election is Oct. 21. I encourage all South Pasadena residents to register and vote.
Many of our residents have already received sample ballots for the election. There are two local measures on the ballot: a proposed ¾-cent sales tax increase and switch from an elected to appointed city clerk.
For full information on the measures, I invite you to visit the Nov. 5 ballot measure resource page on the City’s web site.
If you have a vote-by-mail ballot, you can drop it off the City Clerk’s office, 1414 Mission St. on the 2nd floor.
You can check you voter registration with L.A. County at the following link: https://lavote.net/vrstatus. If you wish to apply to vote by mail, the County will accept applications through Oct. 29.
