Mission Bell Project Environmental Review Document Available for Comment

The Mission Bell Project at Mission and Fairview will include ground-floor retail, 36 residential units and underground parking

The draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the Mission Bell project, proposed for the corner of Mission and Fairview, is currently available for review and comment by the public. 

The project is a three-story building with retail on the ground floor, 36 residential units on the upper floors, and subterranean parking. Two 1970’s buildings, currently occupied by a gym and restaurant, will be demolished to allow for new construction, but the historic building at 1115 Mission Street will be preserved.

Approvals required for the project include a Certificate of Appropriateness, Design Review, and a Conditional Use Permit (CUP).

The review period for the EIR is open until Nov. 18, 2019. The final EIR will include response to comments.
