Join the Metropolitan Water District on Tuesday, September 12 for a free virtual Design Garden Workshop. Start time is 6:00 PM. The class is free, but advanced registration is required. Please make sure to sign up here.
In this class, you will learn how to identify critical steps for successfully designing a watershed-wise landscape. Topics include:
- Sizing and siting the rainwater capture area
- Developing a palette of climate-appropriate plants
- Applying key design principles
- Laying out a successful planting plan

Use what you learn from this class to plan your drought tolerant garden. Be sure to take advantage of the City’s water conservation rebates (including drought tolerant plants!) and MWD’s turf replacement rebate to help make your garden dreams a reality!
