Coastal Cleanup Day is California’s largest volunteer event and allows anyone in California to make a change by helping the environment. When the trash we toss makes its way to the ocean, it harms wildlife and threatens physical habitats. It’s time to clean it up! Join the California Coastal Commission for the 39th California Coastal Cleanup Day on Saturday, September 23 from 9:00am to 12:00pm.
To find your nearest cleanup site, visit CoastalCleanupDay.org and check out the map of all sites throughout California. You’ll find a series of pins on the map for each cleanup site, each containing the information you’ll need for that site.

If you are unable to attend the event but would like to donate and support the California Coastal Cleanup Day, visit this link. If you’d like to purchase tee shirts, prints, tote bags, or other items that help support the cause, visit this link. For any questions, email coast4u@coastal.ca.gov.
