The Library and City are excited to partner with South Pasadena Beautiful to present a special program that is “All Things Trees”!
Join us in the Library Community Room (1115 El Centro Street) on Tuesday, October 3 at 7:00 p.m. to hear arborist Richard McLeod’s presentation “Let’s Show the Trees Some Love”. City representatives Arpy Kasparian, Environmental Services & Sustainability Manager and Catrina Peguero, Public Works Operations Manager, will talk about the city’s long-standing Tree City U.S.A. recognition, and will be available to answer questions about city regulations regarding tree planting and trimming, and share tree rebate and resource information.
Finally, librarian Alexis Mendoza will introduce the Library’s interactive Library Park Tree Map and provide a sneak peek into “Sow South Pasadena”, a grant funded series of events and programs that will take place in the spring.
