The City of South Pasadena invites the community to attend the groundbreaking and naming of a new park located at 2006 Berkshire Avenue. Dr. Solis was a long-time resident of South Pasadena and played an integral role in the City Council’s decision to purchase the Berkshire property from Caltrans to secure land for an open space in the area. She is renowned locally, in the region, the state, and nationwide for her contributions to education, accessibility, equity, and inclusion.
