NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to Election Code § 10225 the candidate nomination period associated with the General Municipal Election to be held in the City of South Pasadena on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 for the District 2, City Council seat has been extended to Wednesday August 14, 2024 at 5:00 p.m.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the nomination period is only extended to candidate not currently serving as a council member. Individuals seeking elective office must be registered voters residing within the city at the time nomination papers are issued by the City Clerk (California Elections Code §201). Nomination papers will be available through WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 14, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. at the City of South Pasadena, Office of the City Clerk, 1414 Mission Street, South Pasadena, CA 91030.
