Need to get rid of that old couch? Bring it to Dumpster Day! On Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., South Pasadena residents can drop off their large furniture, appliances, and other bulky items for free. Bring them by the drive-thru event at 1520 Fremont Avenue. Enter the parking lot on Oak Street from Fair Oaks Avenue. There will be no entrance to the parking lot from Fremont Avenue.
Senior citizens can also reserve a free bulky item pick up for the week of May 5th to May 9th. Reservations are required and space is limited. Please call the South Pasadena Senior Center at (626) 403-7360 to reserve by the May 1st noon deadline.
