In observance of Christmas, Athens Services will be delayed one day beginning on Christmas Day. For example, if your normal service day is Wednesday, this week it will be on Thursday.

City Hall will be closed from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2024, due to an employee event. The Library will open at 2:00 p.m. instead of its usual time, and the Senior Center will remain open as usual.

Please refer to the city’s website or mobile app as an additional resource for information and to submit any service requests.

All City facilities will be closed from December 25, 2024, through January 1, 2025. We will reopen on Thursday, January 2.

The Library will be close at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 24 and be closed Wednesday, December 25, 2024, through Thursday, December 26. The library will close Monday, December 30, 2024, through Wednesday, January 1.

Both the South Pasadena Police and Fire Departments will have staff available to assist the public. For non-emergency assistance, you may contact the Police Department at (626) 403-7270, while the Fire Department can be reached at (626) 403-7300.

For any emergencies, please call 911.

Join us in celebrating the 32^nd year of the Spark of Love Toy Drive. The toy drive will be continuing until December 24^th. To participate, new unwrapped toys can be dropped off at multiple locations in the city which includes the Fire Station, Police Station, and City Hall. Thank you for making this holiday season special for those who need it the most!
