Let’s take this time to reflect on these principles and celebrate our shared values. Happy Kwanzaa to all!

Did you know your holiday tree is 100% recyclable? Athens Services collects your holiday trees and recycles them into mulch! Holiday tree collection begins January 2 in South Pasadena and ends on January 12. Follow these steps to ensure proper recycling of your holiday tree🌲
1. Remove all ornaments, tinsel, lights, and the stand
2. Place your tree next to your containers on your trash day
3. Cut your tree in half if it is over six feet tall
3. Trees will be recycled into mulch!
If you miss the tree pick-up day, cut up your tree and place it in your organics (yard waste) container.
Artificial trees and trees with flocking (fake snow) or fire retardants are NOT recyclable and will be treated as trash. If you need to dispose these items, schedule a Bulky Item Pick-up by visiting AthensServices.com/Bulky.
