Hey there! We just wanted to wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving from all of us here at the City of South Pasadena. Enjoy your day with your loved ones, and gobble till you wobble! 🍁🍽️🦃
South Pasadena’s oldest float is set to appear in the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade on January 1. Volunteers build the parade float entirely, a feat only five other organizations can claim. As costs for supplies, services, flowers, and other natural materials continue to rise, the 2024 float is expected to cost $150,000.
To help preserve this beloved tradition, here are six ways you can offer support:
Buy a raffle ticket to the “Ultimate Tournament of Roses Experience.” First prize: 4 tickets to the Rose Bowl Game in premium seating. Second: 4 VIP tickets to the Rose Parade in the reviewing section. Third: $300 cash. The drawing will be held on December 6. Purchase atsptor.org. To pay by check: make a check to SPTOR and send it to SPTOR, P.O. Box 3662, South Pasadena, CA 91031. Questions? Email avlacich@gmail.com.
