We only ask that you be considerate and courteous of others along the way, enjoy the event at your own pace, and check out the many local businesses, organizations, community groups and more who can be found along the event routes. Don’t forget that this is a free event!

Event Goals

  1. Promote sustainable, active modes of transportation.
  2. Encourage play, community connections, and exploration of the San Gabriel Valley’s diverse communities.
  3. Improve the health of people of all incomes, abilities, and backgrounds.

Looking for something fun to do with your family this Halloween season? You are in luck because the South Pasadena Community Services Department is hosting its annual Halloween Spooktacular! Join us, tomorrow, Friday, October 27, 2023, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Orange Grove Park, 815 Mission St., South Pasadena.

This free event offers fun for the entire family with inflatable games, food trucks, live music, and more!

Streets temporarily opens stretches of roadway for people to walk, jog, skate, bike and more in the San Gabriel Valley. The event series is organized by ActiveSGV, an SGV-based non-profit organization dedicated to realizing a safer, more sustainable and equitable San Gabriel Valley.
