If you walk, cycle, take transit, drive, live, or work in South Pasadena…We want to hear from you!
Two Los Angeles County Metro grants have been awarded to the City, and they are dedicated to improving the major thoroughfares of Fremont Avenue, Fair Oaks Avenue, and Huntington Drive. The City has onboarded Toole Design Group, a consultant that will conduct the early planning and design process.
A crucial element in the early phases of this project, is the input from our community. Your feedback, ideas, and suggestions will help shape the future of what these major thoroughfares will look like.
📣Get involved by joining us at the following input opportunities and open studio sessions. We look forward to hearing from you!

The South Pasadena ban on gas-powered leaf blowers is in full effect and enforcement efforts are underway. The City’s Community Improvement Officer has issued over 100 warning letters and dozens of notices of violation. City staff continue to provide education and outreach on alternative equipment with in-person demonstrations.
This time – we’re coming to you! On Monday, September 18, keep an eye out for the American Green Zone Alliance rolling down your street with various models of electric equipment. We’ll stop by to say hello to your gardener and show them the kinds of equipment that are available and compliant within South Pasadena.

Folks will also learn how to apply for one of two incentive programs that are available for gardeners. For more information on South Pasadena’s ban on gas-powered leaf blowers, resources available for new electric equipment, and how to report a violation, visit: http://www.SouthPasadenaCA.gov/LeafBlowers.
