In observance of Independence Day, all City facilities will be closed on Thursday, July 4, 2024. We will resume service Monday, July 8, 2024.

Both the South Pasadena Police and Fire Departments will have staff available to assist the public. For non-emergency assistance, you may contact the Police Department at (626) 403-7270, while the Fire Department can be reached at (626) 403-7300.

☣️Don’t miss the chance to dispose of your household hazardous waste safely. On June 29th, a collection event will take place at Brookside Park in Pasadena. This is your opportunity to get rid of items that should not be disposed of with regular garbage, such as chemicals and electronics. Drive through the event and dispose of your hazardous waste safely and responsibly!

In honor of this federally recognized holiday, City Hall and facilities will be closed on June 19, 2024.

In the cities, mosquitoes love the summer just as much as we do. When they bite us, they can spread different diseases. 

Every year, the Los Angeles County Dept. of Public Health confirms numerous West Nile virus cases, including deaths. Throughout the state, invasive mosquitoes, called Aedes mosquitoes, are constantly infesting new neighborhoods. Free your home of mosquito-breeding containers and wear repellent.
