Staff from San Gabriel Valley Mosquito & Vector Control District recently were in the field distributing door-to-door literature in South Pasadena this week. The grassroots Bite Back Program is started by residents, supported by mosquito control and powered by local leader support. This neighborhood mosquito watch campaign is for residents who are tired of mosquito bites and are looking for long-term, pesticide-free solutions. Bite Back groups with families can include citizen science projects to enhance their experience.
Any neighborhood can start a Bite Back group, big or small. It starts with one 30-minute meeting with Bite Back outreach staff. Interested residents can contact email@example.com, call 626-214-0726, or visit www.BiteBackChampion.org.
